Developed as an alternative to conventional apartment type housing projects and villa complexes, Öniz Yaşam Konutları was designed with an understanding that aims to combine the advantages of both typologies in a single project. In the project, which makes the use of outdoor space as functional as the housing types, the continuity of outdoor and indoor life is maximized thanks to the private gardens reserved for them as well as the common landscape areas.

Designed in 4 different types, the 30 garden houses, each with a detached entrance, determine an advantageous orientation strategy by utilizing the topographical structure of the plot, subtly emphasizing the concepts of turning inward, creating privacy, drawing boundaries and creating personal space, which are the essential elements of housing. At the same time, this situation creates the private living spaces necessary for detachment and isolation, which are becoming more and more important as we try to get used to the new normal.

The 6 blocks, each consisting of 5 houses with gardens, form a kind of pedestrianized inner street with their placement on the plot. The street, which structures pedestrian transportation from the entrance of the site, is also handled as a kind of meeting and meeting place when we need to socialize in a controlled manner the most. The driveway that surrounds the blocks from the outside is also a playground that hosts street games. The blocks merge in the basement with the parking lot area that provides direct access to the residences.

Our project, which traces the traces of a serene life with its refinement of detail and the quality of light it receives in its spaces, is thought to be an important tool in terms of the representation of users. The construction of the building is planned to be completed in the last quarter of 2021.
