Er Makina Transmission Excellence Center
Ankara / Turkey, 2025

Designed in response to ER Makina’s growing production capacity and strategic vision, the Transmission Excellence Center integrates manufacturing, administrative, and R&D functions within a unified and contemporary architectural framework. The project aims to support advanced industrial operations while creating high-quality spaces that enhance user experience and organizational identity.

The building is structured around a flexible and modular system, enabling it to adapt to changing operational needs while maintaining architectural integrity. This design approach provides a scalable infrastructure ready to accommodate future expansion.

At the heart of the design are a series of central courtyards, expanded and reimagined as multifunctional social spaces. These courtyards—some covered with skylight systems—ensure continuity of natural daylight throughout the interior while offering opportunities for relaxation, informal gatherings, and open-air meetings for employees.

A clear distinction between the administrative and production zones is established both through spatial organization and facade articulation. The use of large-format ceramic cladding and refined curtain wall systems on the administrative block gives the building a strong, representational character aligned with the company’s corporate image.

A newly envisioned entrance layout enhances the user journey and acts as an architectural gesture that reinforces brand identity. Through a thoughtful interplay of light, materials, and mass, the building delivers different atmospheres throughout the day, reflecting ER Makina’s commitment to innovation and excellence.

The ER Makina Transmission Excellence Center is more than just a functional facility—it is a contemporary hub that brings together engineering, production, and research capabilities, offering a powerful architectural expression of the company’s forward-looking values.
