Gamador Vertivilla
Ankara / Türkiye, 2024
Vertivilla is a hybrid residential model that redefines villa living within a multi-storey building system. Drawing inspiration from traditional detached house typologies, this unique project re-organises horizontally divided residential units vertically, enabling villa-style comfort within the city.
The project consists of residential units, each with a net usable area of 250 m². Each apartment features a private garden with a height of 6.4 metres and an independent elevator entrance. This architectural organisation offers users both an independent living space and the urban advantages of a multi-storey building.

Each residential unit has an independent entrance, spacious terraces and open spaces, with a layout that prioritises individual privacy. The façade design features regular, wide openings that increase the quality of natural light in the interior while supporting the continuity between the interior and exterior. The building's overall structure is shaped by a modular system approach; the separation between the load-bearing system and the infill elements is also reflected in the façade expression.
In material selection, natural stone, wood textures, and light-coloured surfaces have been prioritised; a simple and rational design language has been adopted in detail solutions. The mass composition has been resolved in accordance with land use; each unit is positioned to establish a connection with the landscape at its own elevation.

Vertivilla is a contemporary residential proposal that redefines urban comfort by enabling a vertical villa experience in residential architecture.
