Santra Campus
Ankara / Türkiye, 2024
Located in the city centre of Ankara, the project brings together shops, restaurants, cafés, bars and offices in a holistic campus setting. Designed as a new generation shopping and lifestyle centre, the complex stands out with its open spaces integrated with the natural environment, circulation axes that support pedestrian traffic and thematic social areas.
Developed in line with the mixed-use principle, the project includes commercial units of varying scales and characters. Flagship stores belonging to global brands, boutique-scale retail areas, and pop-up units planned on a temporary basis are located along horizontally organised shopping corridors. Food and beverage areas are spread across social axes designed between building blocks, both indoors and outdoors; restaurants offering local and international cuisines, gastronomy experience areas, and bar streets are programmed with themes.

Office modules are optionally designed according to flexible working systems; infrastructure support is provided for open offices, coworking spaces and business incubators.

The project is supported by a public space system that focuses on user experience and enables multiple activity scenarios. Cultural meeting points equipped with open-air stages, amphitheatre seating arrangements, and multi-purpose squares enhance community life within the project. A seamless circulation system integrated with nature has been established through pedestrian connections between blocks, green belts, and linear walking paths.
Designed according to simple, functional and sustainable architectural principles, the project offers an alternative model to the new generation of shopping mall typologies with its relationship with the context and user-oriented urban scenarios.

The project was submitted as an invited competition proposal.
